The Games are being organized across 88 participating secondary schools and include the following categories:<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-8cf370e7 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<p>&#8211;&nbsp;<strong>Digital Literacy<\/strong>: Creating AGILE-themed multimedia content<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;&nbsp;<strong>Painting, Essay &amp; Short Stories<\/strong>: Highlighting creativity and expression through arts and writing<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;&nbsp;<strong>Debate &amp; Poetry Out Loud<\/strong>: Building advocacy, public speaking, and confidence<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;&nbsp;<strong>Spelling Bee:<\/strong>&nbsp;Testing academic excellence with 50 students per state advancing to the national level<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;&nbsp;<strong>Environment &amp; Entrepreneurship:<\/strong>&nbsp;\u2018Waste to Wealth\u2019 business plan presentations addressing climate change and sustainability<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;&nbsp;<strong>Team Sports:<\/strong>&nbsp;Volleyball (separate Boys &amp; Girls) and Basketball (separate Boys &amp; Girls), promoting teamwork and discipline<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-group is-vertical is-layout-flex wp-container-core-group-is-layout-8cf370e7 wp-block-group-is-layout-flex\">\n<p>Top-performing students and teams from each category will be selected to represent Katsina State at the AGILE Games National Finals in Abuja, alongside other AGILE states \u2013 Borno, Ekiti, Kaduna, Kano, Kebbi and Plateau.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Katsina State is committed to ensuring that every participating girl is prepared, supported, and celebrated, as they take bold steps toward representing the state with pride, excellence, and integrity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For inquiries, contact:<br>AGILE Communications Desk,<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Katsina, Nigeria \u201315th&nbsp;April 2025 Adolescent Girls\u2019 Initiative for Learning and Empowerment (AGILE) Project in partnership with the Katsina State Ministry of Education, proudly announces the state-level rollout of the AGILE Games 2025, as part of its preparations to represent the state at the national event.
